About Us:
 
We are a highly experienced and passionate team of Chartered Physiotherapists who specialise in helping our clients get back to full fitness using appropriate manual therapy, rehabilitative and pain relief skills.  We believe in helping you get well and helping you stay well!

We are open 6 days a week.  We offer early evening appointments during the week on Monday evenings and late appointments on Tuesday evenings.  We also offer Saturday morning appointments. 
 

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Do I need a GP referral?

No.  You can contact us directly to make an appointment.  If you have medical insurance, you can apply for prior authorisation to use your insurance policy to cover your physiotherapy sessions.  Depending on your insurer's policy, you may require either a triage call with them or a GP referral.  We are registered with most major insurers such as BUPA, Aviva, Simply Health, AXA, Nuffield Fusion, Cigna, WPA and many others.

2. What are our open hours?

We open at different times every day and our open hours are current subject to change due to the Corona Virus pandemic.  Evening appointments are available if you work fixed hours or far away.  Please call or email us to see what time might suit you or use our online booking form.  We aim to offer you a suitable appointment as soon as possible, depending on availability and your particular circumstances.

3. What are our rates and how long are our sessions?

We charge £50 for an initial assessment which takes 45 minutes.  This will involve taking a full history of your condition or injury, any previous relevant history and doing an examination to diagnose the problem.  You will also receive physiotherapy treatment during your initial assessment.

We charge £40 for a follow up session (30 minutes).  The number of follow up sessions required depends on your rate of recovery and on the condition that you have.

We charge £50 for a long follow up (45 minutes).  You may book a long follow up if you would like one.  Most insurance companies do not cover the cost of a long session so any difference may be for your own account.

4. How do you pay?

If you are funding the session yourself, you pay us directly either by card or cash.  We use our booking system's payment function to do this and will send you a payment request link at the end of your session.

If you are using your medical insurance policy, we usually invoice the insurance company directly and you pay us any excess that may be due on your policy.  

Please be aware that you may have an excess to pay in terms of your policy and this needs to be paid directly to us.  Our fees are your responsibility, so in the event that your insurer does not settle your bill for any reason, you may be liable to pay us directly.

5. Cancellations

We operate a 24 hour cancellation policy.  Appointments missed without cancellation or cancelled within 24 hours of the booked appointment, will incur a cost of £20.00.  

Covid 19 Policy:

Hybrid Approach:
On the advice of our governing bodies, we will follow a hybrid approach, offering remote consultations to people who are shielding or isolating or who may be nervous to leave the house; and we will encourage patients who do not require in-person consultations (e.g. rehabilitation follow ups) to make use of our remote consultation facilities. Face-to-face consultations are available, after a Covid19 triage and with the use of appropriate PPE.
 
Infection Control Procedures:
We follow a very strict infection-control policy. We clean all touch surfaces, disinfect (using a bleach-based detergent and medical grade anti-viral and anti-bacterial wipes) and air the clinic for 15 minutes between each patient.
 
We have these 15 minute gaps to ensure that there is no contact between patients. So, we ask that patients arrive promptly at your booked appointment time.  Please do not come early.  We will have the door open and ready for you so that you don't need to ring the bell (just one less thing to touch).
 
We take temperatures before entry to the clinic is allowed. In the event your temperature is high,  access to the clinic may be denied.
 
We ask our patients to wash hands (or use hand sanitiser) on entry and again at the end of your treatment session.
 
We ask our patients to wear masks to your visits.  We are wearing PPE: gloves, type IR face mask, a face visor/shield and an apron.
 
We wash our hands before, during and after each patient. 

We would ask that you help us in our attempts to prevent infection by telling us  before your appointment if you have any flu-like symptoms, specifically a new persistent cough, a high temperature or any new loss of taste or smell, so that we can reschedule your appointment.  Similarly, if you have been in contact with anyone who has Covid19 symptoms or who has tested positive for Covid19.

We politely request that you respect Social Distancing rules when coming to the Clinic and that you come on your own, without other family members (if possible).  Patients who are under 18 years old, who need a chaperone or a carer, are of course welcome to bring their parent, chaperone or caregiver.
